Quantity Surveyor (FINNS Bali)
Description

FINNS Bali is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our Project & Development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of cost planning, estimation, and financial control for construction and renovation projects across our resort facilities. This role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively with contractors, engineers, and project managers to ensure quality and budget compliance.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare accurate cost estimates and budgets for construction and fit-out projects.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and risk analyses regarding proposed works.
  • Analyze drawings and specifications to ensure accurate quantity take-offs and cost planning.
  • Manage tendering processes, including the preparation of Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and evaluating contractor bids.
  • Monitor project expenditures and prepare regular cost reports for management.
  • Ensure value engineering is implemented without compromising design or quality.
  • Assess and certify contractor progress claims and variations.
  • Support contract administration and negotiate terms where needed.
  • Ensure that all financial and contractual documentation is complete, accurate, and in line with company procedures and industry standards.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience in quantity surveying, preferably in the hospitality or resort development sector.
  • Proficient in cost estimating software and Microsoft Excel; knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and regulations.
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in English is an advantage.
