Location: Bali, Indonesia
Responsibilities
- Lead architectural projects from initial concept through to execution, including site analysis, programming, design development, and construction documentation
- Create innovative, functional, and aesthetically pleasing designs that reflect both contemporary and traditional Balinese architecture
- Mentor and manage junior architects and designers, providing guidance and feedback to ensure high standards and efficient project delivery
- Work closely with clients to understand their vision and objectives, offering design solutions that meet their needs while adhering to budget and timelines
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure smooth integration of design and construction processes
- Oversee the preparation of detailed architectural drawings, technical specifications, and presentations
- Ensure that all projects comply with local regulations, environmental standards, and sustainability practices
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and ensure quality control during the construction phase
- Address design challenges and unforeseen issues effectively and creatively, ensuring successful project outcomes
Qualifications
- Proven experience as Senior Architect or similar roles
- Familiarity with hospitality industry standards, especially beach club
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus
- Proficient in Architectural design software such as AutoCad, Revit, Sketch Up, etc.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Creative and passionate in design
Ability to work effectively in a team development - Proven ability to lead and manage design teams, collaborate effectively with clients and contractors, and deliver projects on time
