This role will oversee custom software development, cybersecurity, and online technology assets, ensuring seamless digital operations that enhance guest experiences and operational efficiency. - Technology & Product Development
- Oversee the design, development, and implementation of custom software solutions to support business operations, including reservations, CRM, POS systems, and mobile applications.
- Manage and optimize integrations between existing hospitality technology platforms to enhance efficiency.
- Identify opportunities to innovate digital experiences for guests, from online bookings to digital concierge services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure all technology projects are aligned with business needs and deliver value.
Cybersecurity & IT Compliance
- Develop and implement cybersecurity policies to protect digital assets, customer data, and business-critical information.
- Oversee IT risk management and incident response planning.
Online & Digital Asset Management
- Oversee the performance and security of websites, mobile apps, and e-commerce platforms to ensure seamless customer interactions.
- Manage cloud infrastructure, hosting, and IT support for online assets.
- Lead digital marketing technology initiatives, ensuring alignment with business and marketing teams.
- Monitor and improve system uptime, performance, and user experience.
Vendor & Team Leadership
- Manage external vendors, developers, and technology partners to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget.
- Lead and mentor an in-house team of IT specialists and digital professionals.
- Stay ahead of emerging technology trends to continuously enhance digital and IT capabilities.
- Essential
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Marketing, Cybersecurity, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in technology management, software development, or digital transformation, ideally in the hospitality, entertainment, or luxury sectors.
- Proven experience in custom software development lifecycle and digital product management.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, budgets, and vendors effectively.
Preferred
- Experience working in hospitality or high-end leisure businesses.
- Familiarity with POS, ERP, CRM, and reservation systems.
- Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to technology decision-making.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
