FINNS Beach Club is seeking a Freelance SEO Content Writer who loves the craft of writing and wants to develop specialised skills in digital organic marketing. Your core focus will be creating engaging, well-researched, high-quality long-form English content that captures readers' attention and delivers real value.
You do not need to be an SEO expert on day one. We will train you in keyword placement, search intent, on-page optimisation, and content structuring. This is a chance to work on one of the most complex and interesting writing projects in Indonesia's travel and leisure industry.

- Produce clear, engaging copy: Write compelling, well-structured English articles, blog posts, and guides that match our brand voice and resonate with an international audience.
- Conduct thorough research: Dig into sources, fact-check details, and synthesise complex ideas into accessible, reader-friendly content.
- Implement on-page SEO guidance: Apply the SEO principles you learn during training, naturally integrating target keywords, headings, meta tags, and internal linking strategies.
- Revise and polish work: Self-edit diligently for grammar, syntax, tone, and readability before submission, implementing editorial feedback promptly.
- Collaborate with the content team: Communicate effectively on progress, editorial briefs, and task deadlines through project management tools.
- Meet delivery timelines: Manage your workflow independently to submit complete, publication-ready drafts within agreed delivery windows.
- Fluency in Indonesian and strong written and verbal communication.
- Near-native English fluency – Flawless written English (grammar, phrasing, idioms, and natural rhythm) suitable for international readers.
- A genuine passion for writing – An innate desire to research, organise thoughts, and craft original, insightful prose.
- Strong attention to detail – Exceptional self-editing habits, clean formatting, and consistent accuracy.
- Fast learner and coachable attitude – Eagerness to absorb feedback, master SEO concepts, and adopt our internal style guidelines.
- Reliability and self-discipline – Ability to manage your own freelance schedule, communicate proactively, and hit strict deadlines without close supervision.
- Basic digital literacy – Comfort using Google Docs, cloud storage, and task management platforms.
- Access to your own computer and the internet – This is a freelance role, and while access to certain systems will be provided, you must provide your own hardware and internet access.

- Basic familiarity with keyword tools (Ahrefs, Semrush) or CMS platforms like WordPress.
- Experience with keyword optimisation tools such as SurferSEO, NeuronWriter, WriterZen, etc.
- Prior exposure to writing across lifestyle, travel, hospitality, or digital culture topics.
