- Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns for the company
- Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations, including sales tax, property tax, and payroll tax
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely reporting of financial information
- Collaborate with accounting staff to prepare monthly and annual financial statements
- Advise management on tax implications of business decisions and potential tax-saving strategies
- Stay updated on changes in tax legislation that may impact the company
- Assist in the preparation for tax audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and variances related to tax liabilities
- Develop and implement tax policies and procedures
- Proven experience in tax preparation and compliance, preferably in the hospitality or leisure industry
- Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
