FINNS Bali, in collaboration with the AkarKita team, successfully hosted a two-day workshop titled Theory of Change: Journey to Sustainable Business for its strategic partner, Stella’s Child. The workshop aimed to strengthen the organization’s capacity to drive long-term social impact, focusing on setting measurable goals and establishing effective monitoring and evaluation systems. This workshop was held on 17-18 March 2025.

Interactive sessions covered key topics such as Theory of Change (ToC), impact formulation, outcome measurement, monitoring and evaluation design, and impact reporting. Participants from FINNS Bali and Stella’s Child engaged in group exercises, brainstorming, presentations, and hands-on practice using real-life case studies. These activities enabled them to build tailored ToC frameworks and key performance indicators aligned with their programs.
This workshop marks just the beginning. As a follow-up, AkarKita has offered ongoing support through a dedicated WhatsApp group and optional mentoring sessions to help Stella’s Child finalize their ToC and reporting systems. “We want our participants to implement what they’ve learned, that’s why we offer this after-service,” said Pritha, Co-founder of AkarKita.

This initiative represents a strategic step in enhancing the effectiveness and transparency of Stella’s Child’s programs, ensuring greater clarity and sustainability in their mission to empower underserved youth and break the cycle of poverty.
