From September 10 to 12, 2025, Bali was hit by severe flooding that caused widespread devastation. Thousands of residents were affected, with many homes damaged or destroyed and more than a dozen lives tragically lost. In response to this disaster, FINNS Bali mobilized resources to support both external communities and our own internal team members who were impacted.
We assisted 126 families and employees affected by the floods. This included 62 families in Jalan Ahmad Yani, Gang Utomo, RT 1 in Denpasar Utara, whose homes suffered varying levels of damage, and 15 households in Jalan Kebo Iwa. In addition, 49 FINNS employees received support in the form of donation packages and cash assistance, adjusted to each household’s level of severity and vulnerability, such as having infants, elderly members, or pregnant and breastfeeding mothers.
To ensure a swift and coordinated response, FINNS opened a public donation channel with the support of the SSC Team. Through this initiative, we successfully raised IDR 8,775,000 in public donations among staff and IDR 33,475,000 from guest donations through online bookings, which were sent to Ragam Foundation. Furthermore, we also received generous in-kind contributions, including clothing and other essentials. These contributions were vital in helping communities meet their most urgent needs during the crisis.
The donation packages distributed by FINNS contained essential food supplies, sanitary products, and hygiene kits. In addition, various donations were delivered, including clothing, cleaning supplies, medicines, household goods such as buckets, mops, detergent, and trash bags, as well as learning supplies like books, pens, and pencils. This collective effort reflects FINNS Bali’s commitment to standing in solidarity with both our employees and the wider community, easing immediate burdens while fostering resilience and unity across Bali.
