Bridging Academia and Industry: FINNS Shares Real-World Expertise with UNDIKNAS Students

FINNS Beach Club successfully collaborated with Universitas Pendidikan Nasional (UNDIKNAS) Denpasar to deliver a comprehensive Guest Lecturer and Study Visit program, bringing practical industry insights directly to the next generation of management professionals. Through dedicated guest lectures and an exclusive on-site learning experience, FINNS shared real-world expertise across multiple cohorts of students in early June 2026.

The program unfolded across three distinct sessions, beginning with our CFO – Mr Eppy Dhanianto Wibowo addressing 54 students in the “International Partnership & Business Networking” course on June 3rd, 2026. This session explored the strategies behind FINNS’s international partnerships, networking best practices, and the digital platforms reshaping global business connectivity. The lecture emphasized actionable frameworks that undergraduate students can apply as they enter the professional landscape.

Following this, a smaller, more intimate session with 15 students enrolled in the “SMEs” (Small and Medium Enterprises) concentration course took place on June 5th, 2026. This U-shaped classroom format enabled deeper dialogue around the unique opportunities and challenges facing small enterprises in Indonesia and Bali, technology adoption, CSR integration, and the resilience strategies that matter in the post-crisis business environment. The CFO drew directly from FINNS’s own interactions with local SMEs and sustainability initiatives to ground the discussion in lived experience.

“Education works best when it connects theory with practice. Our goal is to help students see beyond the textbook and understand how real businesses navigate complexity, build networks, and create value.” – Agung Mia, UNDIKNAS Lecture

The pinnacle of the collaboration came on the same day, when 39 students from UNDIKNAS arrived at FINNS Beach Club for an exclusive Public Relations Excursion Study (Studi Ekskursi Kehumasan). Under the guidance of our ESG and Marketing teams, students experienced firsthand how a hospitality venue communicates with stakeholders, manages its public image, and operationalizes corporate social responsibility in the context of Bali’s business environment. The walkthrough covered everything from waste management systems to community engagement strategies, offering tangible examples of how industry players align profit with purpose.

This partnership reflects FINNS’s commitment to knowledge-sharing and community investment in education. By welcoming students into our operations and sharing authentic industry perspectives, FINNS contributes to a learning ecosystem where academic rigor meets operational reality, preparing tomorrow’s leaders to think critically, act responsibly, and lead with both business acumen and social awareness.
