As part of FINNS’s commitment to protect the environment, our community came together to clean the coastline area of FINNS. A total of eighty-seven employees of FINNS maintain the cleanliness of its coastline every Friday, a testament to their commitment to safeguarding our environment. The clean up started at FINNS Beach Club until Perancak Temple in Berawa Beach.
On the designated cleanup day, participants, armed with trash sticks and trash bags, pick up organic and non-organic waste along the shore. Plastic bottles, wrappers, cigarette butts, leaves, wood sticks and other debris were methodically removed. We collected 101.74 kg of waste with the composition of non-organic, 54.17 kg and organic waste 47.56 kg. The formerly littered shoreline was rejuvenated, offering a safer and more pristine environment.
This clean-up is part of FINNS’s continuous effort to preserve Bali’s nature and beauty. This cleanup happens regularly every Friday and is a powerful reminder that collective and continuous action can bring about positive change. Together, we can preserve our coastal paradise’s natural beauty and pristine quality for generations to come.
