To celebrate National Tree Day, FINNS Bali participated in Tree of Life, a planting bamboo activity organised by the Bali Youth Parliament of Water (Bali YPW) at Petali Temple, Penebel Village, Tabanan, on November 30, 2024. This activity aims to protect the environment and conserve water in Batukaru, a vital recharge area in Tabanan.
100 bamboo seedlings were successfully planted around Petali Temple by communities, environmental activists, and government representatives. Bamboo was chosen for its vital role in ecosystem balance, water absorption, erosion prevention, and its cultural significance in Bali. The event also included educational sessions highlighting the many benefits of bamboo.
FINNS Bali proudly supports Bali YPW for its dedication to youth empowerment and environmental advocacy. “Their initiatives align with FINNS Bali’s commitment to taking concrete actions that create long-term benefits for the environment and local communities,” stated Abdul Manaf, ESG Manager of FINNS Bali.
