FINNS Bali Take Action in Plastic-Free July – A Commitment to Greener Future

FINNS GO GREEN

Plastic Free July is a global movement that encourages people to reduce their use of single-use plastics for the entire month of July. The goal is to raise awareness about the environmental impact of plastic waste and inspire long-term habits to reduce our reliance on single-use plastic.

Plastic pollution is a major environmental issue. Single-use plastic, such as bags, bottles, and straws, often end up in our oceans and landfills, taking hundreds of years to decompose. This pollution harms wildlife, contaminates our food and water, and contributes to climate change. By participating in Plastic Free July, we reduce the amount of plastic waste and protect the environment.

FINNS Bali actively participated in this movement. Currently, we reaffirm our commitment by reissuing a regulation to ban single-use plastic at FINNS. Furthermore, we are building waste sorting facilities.

We hope our movement can reduce plastic pollution and educate our staff and public to create a more sustainable workplace and planet.
