On May 10th 2024, a group of enthusiastic children from Stella’s Child arrived at the Waste Sorting Center – FINNS Bali. The facility, known for its waste separation practices, provided an ideal setting for the young visitors to learn about waste management and sustainability.

The tour began with an introduction by the ESG team, who explained the importance of waste sorting and its impact on the environment. The children learned about the different types of waste, including organic, recyclable, and hazardous materials, and the processes involved in sorting and recycling them.
They were taken through various sections of the center, witnessing firsthand how we do waste sorting. The highlight of the visit was the hands-on activity where the children participated in sorting waste, giving them a practical understanding of the intricacies involved in recycling.

To deepen their understanding, the center organized interactive sessions. It included a Q&A session where the children could ask questions about the recycling process, and what we do after sorting our waste. The engagement was high, with the children showing great curiosity and eagerness to learn and to provide practical learning experiences that empower them to make a positive impact on the planet.
