FINNS Bali, in partnership with Perfect Fit, organised a women’s health training session for women at the PKP Community Center. The event aimed to raise awareness and understanding of the importance of women’s health, particularly for community members with limited access to health education. The event also supported the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender Based Violence campaign, which is one of PKP Community Center’s focuses.
The women’s health training session welcomed 25 women of various ages who eagerly participated in this interactive and informative event.
The session covered key topics such as reproductive health, the importance of a balanced diet, stress management, and preventive measures for common women’s health issues. Practical guidance was also provided, including simple fitness exercises and daily health tips from the Perfect Fit team.
A Q&A session allowed participants to consult on personal health concerns, making the event not only educational but also a source of practical solutions.
Trainees received environmentally friendly reusable sanitary pads from Perfect Fit, addressing challenges in accessing quality and affordable health products. PKP Community Center focuses on women’s empowerment, providing a safe space for those ostracized to work and alleviate family financial struggles.
Ni Komang Sariani, Founder of PKP Community Center, expressed gratitude:
“Thank you to FINNS Bali and Perfect Fit for organising this activity, allowing us to learn more about women’s health, especially for mothers and children entering puberty.”
