FINNS Bali Launches Bali’s First SAR Helicopter and Eco-Friendly Beach Cleaning Robot

FINNS Beach Club hosted the inaugural FINNS Future Nation, an event highlighting innovation, sustainability, and safety in Bali’s tourism sector. Under the theme “Party Like There Is A Tomorrow,” the event introduced two major initiatives: Bali’s first Search and Rescue (SAR) helicopter and the BeBot beach-cleaning robot

In partnership with SGi Air Bali, the SAR helicopter was launched to improve emergency response across the island, capable of reaching any location in under 20 minutes. Meanwhile, the eco-friendly BeBot, unveiled by the Deputy Regent of Badung, will operate daily on FINNS’ beachfront, removing microplastics and small debris with minimal environmental disruption.

The event drew significant attention, welcoming more than 150 guests from the media, government, NGOs, industry partners, and influencers. Their presence amplified discussions on Bali’s future in responsible tourism, alongside FINNS’ broader programs in youth empowerment, cultural preservation, and environmental education.

FINNS also shared its impact milestones, including over one million kilograms of waste diverted from landfill, and more than 1,000 youth supported through education and training. Additionally, FINNS also showcases its waste management facility and its commitment to 95% landfill diversion by 2026. FINNS aims to inspire other hospitality players in Bali and across Indonesia to adopt more sustainable practices.

Abdul Manaf, ESG Manager at FINNS Bali, said: “Today marks the beginning of FINNS’ journey to share and scale our commitment to environmental sustainability and community impact across Bali. We hope to inspire other hospitality businesses and leaders in Bali and across Indonesia to also play their part in ‘Partying Like There Is A Tomorrow.’ We’re proud to partner with trailblazing organisations like Searial Cleaners, SGi Air Bali, and Stella’s Child to help build a more sustainable future for generations to come.”
