FINNS Beach Club Welcomes Undiknas Communication Students for a Public Relations Learning Visit

FINNS Beach Club welcomed 30 students from the Communication Science Study Program, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities (FISHUM), Undiknas University, for a Public Relations learning visit on Friday, 25 September 2026.

The visit was part of the university’s Public Relations workshop series, which gives students a look at how PR and media work in practice. At FINNS Beach Club, the students saw how a large hospitality venue serving thousands of guests every day manages its public image and its relationships with the community.

During the session, the FINNS team explained how three departments work together on public relations:

  • ESG builds reputational capital through verified sustainability and community programs.
  • Legal & Corporate Affairs protects the company’s social license to operate through community and government relations.
  • Marketing shapes the narrative through brand messaging, storytelling, and media relations.

The session also covered crisis communication, including why aligned, accurate messaging matters when a situation puts a brand’s reputation at risk, and how proactive community work builds the goodwill a company relies on in difficult times.

Tata Anggres, a lecturer in the Communication Science Study Program at Undiknas University, said: “The session was very beneficial for our students, and the material was excellent. We hope to visit again, and to discuss a cooperation agreement so that FINNS can host our students for internships and bring guest lectures to our campus. We would also love to see this material shared in a public lecture so that all of our students can benefit.”

The visit reflects FINNS Bali’s commitment to supporting education and sharing industry knowledge with the next generation of communication professionals.
