FINNS Bali has partnered with Yayasan PUSPADI Bali, an NGO focused on community-based rehabilitation and mobility aid for people with disabilities, to sponsor a custom prosthetic leg for Pak Made, the father of a staff member at FINNS Beach Club.
Pak Made had lived with a long-term leg condition that eventually required amputation above the knee, leaving him reliant on crutches for daily mobility. Through FINNS Bali’s Corporate Social Responsibility program, in collaboration with PUSPADI Bali’s team of prosthetic specialists, Pak Made underwent a full process of assessment, casting, and custom fitting to receive a through-knee prosthetic leg tailored to his needs, followed by gait training to help him walk comfortably and confidently again.
Today, Pak Made is able to move around and carry out his daily activities with far greater ease and independence.
His daughter, Tina Ayu Andari, a team member at FINNS Beach Club, shared her gratitude:
“Thanks to the support from FINNS Bali and PUSPADI Bali, my father is now much more comfortable going about his everyday activities. As a member of FINNS Bali’s staff, I’m truly grateful that this program was able to help my father this way.”
Commenting on the program, I Made Andhika Krisna Yudha, Community Relationship Director of FINNS Bali, said: “Supporting our team goes beyond the workplace. It means standing by the people who matter most to them, and we’re grateful that our partnership with PUSPADI Bali could give Pak Made a real chance to move freely again.”
This initiative reflects FINNS Bali’s ongoing commitment to the wellbeing of its team members and their families, as well as its broader dedication to inclusion and community empowerment across Bali. Through continued collaboration with organizations like PUSPADI Bali, FINNS Bali hopes to extend similar support to more individuals in need in the future.
